Because of a horrific past back in Tennessee, Sam, her mom, and her brother, Drew, had to move all the way to California. Sam isn't one to try and make friends, so she keeps to herself. Her brother on the other hand, is a a huge chick magnet. He easily makes friends. One of those friends happens to be the other hottest boy in school. What'll happen when he starts to fall for Sam? Will her harmful past come back to haunt her?

"I just feel so lonely." She said. "You're not alone." He whispered into the phone. "But I feel like it." She whispered back to him, her voice cracking at the end of the sentence from all of the crying she had done. "I'll be here for you, I promise." He said in a voice so sincere and caring that she couldn't help but smile a little. "Can we talk again, tomorrow? Like at the same time?" She asked him, hoping that he would agree.
