One night Haruka and her mother were running away only to get caught by her father again, this caused him to stab her mom with his hunting knife. As you witness this something inside her caused the girl to snap and murder her own father for this, she knew this would only make the situation worse but for the first time in her life, she didn't care nor hold back anymore. The trauma of hee mom dying in her arms really messed her up and she's still not fully over it even now. After a year of little food and much traveling she felt like this was the end, but made peace with death because she know you'll be reunited with your mom, as you laid on the cold winter snow you felt something warm carrying her to safety but couldn't get a good look at what it was and she blacked out. Years passed and she were already taken in by Tanjiro's family since he was the one to save her and now she is training in the ways archery to protect them.
