Rose has lost her home, her father, her future. So when the crime network known as the Syndicate asks her to do something awful in return for protection, she has to make a choice--do the what she knows is right, or abandon everything she's been raised to believe and embrace a new life as a criminal.

Jude's life goal was to make people happy. People...or a person. Anyone really. He valued happiness more than anything and wanted to be able to share that if it meant possibly making someone else happy. He finally got his chance, but with Aster, the unsocial 17 year old that everyone else thought wasn't worth their time, or time in general.
