A small group of performers travel the land of Kouka, spreading hope and helping any way they can to lift the spirits of villagers in their time of need. They meet unexpected allies in the form of Princess Yona, her four dragons, and two other companions. They recognize the fabled five and form an alliance with the princess, wanting the same for their country.

Earth is ruled entirely by corporations who refuse to acknowledge the existence of The colony on the water planet. The martian population, forced into near slave labor conditions is determined to leave the martian wasteland and escape to the promising water planet which they refer to simply as, "The Sea".
