The year is 2034, the future, where hoverboards and tabletop tablets exist. Nina Rokhlin (Natalie Portman), infamous fugitive and hacking genius accused of stealing an ancient scribe from the President's office, is on the run, away from Alcatraz, the jail over San Fransisco Bay. She's constantly running from place to place, careful not to be caught by the officers looking for her. Jesse Andrews (Hayden Christensen) is a young man working in a car garage for a living, earning just enough money to eat and rent his small, one room apartment. Nina and Jesse are only looking for a way to find themselves -- until they meet each other.
