***TRIGGER WARNING: this book contains an actual SERIOUS and ACCURATE picture of mental illness and many other things abusive parents, self harm, etc*** small disclaimer: this book is completely unedited and contains spelling/grammar errors. Highest Ranking: #1 ♡♡♡ "Did you're sister tell you anything about mates?"He asks, sitting down on the edge of the bed next to me.I nod in response. "Okay, how much do you know?" "That mates are made for each other."I answer him softly. "Do you know who your mate is?"Tyler asks me. My heart sinks and I look down at my feet and nod slowly. He takes my chin in his hand and tips it up so I look at him in the eye. "Who's your mate, darling?" "Y-you are."I stutter. "Good girl."He smirks before moving his hands to wrap around my waist and pulls me onto his lap so that I'm straddling him."And you know why I gave you this?" He moves my hair off my shoulder to reveal his bite mark.He traces around the teeth marks lightly with the tip of his finger, causing electricity to run throughout my body. The smirk on his face proves that he knows the affect he has on me. "It's to show that you're mine."Tyler says."That you belong to me,every little inch of you. That no one else will ever touch you the way I do,you're mine."

Ari Callahan has no idea how to talk to boys -- or how to talk to anyone for that matter. Enter Zac, the cute new guy in town who won't stop texting her. But is his interest real, or does he have a hidden agenda? ***** Found as a young child washed up on the beach, 17-year-old Ari Callahan has never uttered a word out loud to anyone -- not even her adoptive family. Psychologists have diagnosed her with a condition called selective mutism, but Ari can't help identifying with her namesake character, Ariel, the little mermaid in the fairytale whose voice was stolen by a sea witch. Mermaid-obsession aside, Ari's silence makes socializing tough. She's never had a boyfriend or been asked out on a date. Not until Zac, the confident new arrival in town, asks for her number. But Zac has his own reasons for texting with Ari. He's part of a movement to sabotage the artificial music app called SirenSong, threatening to render human singing obsolete. Zac's collaborators have scoured the globe in search of a singing voice perfect enough to break the SirenSong spell, and their search has led them straight to Ari's beachside town. Will her relationship with Zac help Ari find her voice and unlock the secrets of her origins? Or will he use her and leave her high and dry? Title: Ari and Zac (formerly The Mermaid Hypothesis) Content Warning: This story contains references to selective mutism, suicidal thoughts, and early childhood trauma.

Copyrighted 2014 #1 in Teens ~In the process of rewriting~ ~CHECK OUT THE REWRITE, its written far better~ Seriously the writing in this one is SO bad. "I will always protect you, Roza." Having a normal childhood was completely foreign to the two polar opposites Rosalyn Summers and Rex Turner. Both grew up with terrible pasts, both lived harsh lives, until now. Rosalyn was always the shy, quiet girl, always. Cliché in a sense, I know, but you can't necessarily blame her. Being forced from the only parent you ever knew as a child, only to end up in countless numbers of foster homes until you were twelve, would do that to anyone. Rose grew up believing that everything was her fault, that she was always the one that needed to say sorry. But not with Rex. Not with the boy she has had a crush on since before her family found her. The boy who swears to protect her at all costs. The boy she has fallen completely in love with. Rex's anger problems always got him into trouble, always. Until the little sweet-hearted Rosalyn Summers came bouncing into his life. He suddenly found himself doing anything he could to be with her, to talk to her, to protect her. It didn't take him long to realize that he had completely fallen head-over-heels for the clueless, adorable, defenseless girl. But with a few bad choices on his part, and the ever present fear of hers', will the people from his past threaten to take her away from him? Or will the people from hers' decide to do that instead? These two soon found out that they aren't as complete opposites as they thought. -Warning: This story has a few possessive, controlling men, sorry if you don't like that. ~follow the instagram page! @day_dream_1011 ~

Ally Summers is on her own. Not forcibly, basically just because her mother drives her insane, and her dad isn't any help. After graduating college with a degree in Photography, she sets out to tour the world, or, well, the country. Maybe just the province. It depends on how far her money can stretch, and how long her beat up 1967 Station Wagon can last. Her curiosity has gotten her into tough situations before, but never this bad. Nope. Not even close. This time, she's stumbled onto an attempted murder. Of an Alpha. Of her mate.

It started out as something anyone could have confused as a hangover, food poisoning, or any other puke indulging sickness. But then within minutes it morphed into something even the smartest and most experienced medical facilitators couldn't diagnose. I mean, how could you really label someone as transforming into a werewolf if less then a penny of the earth knew of the species? "Sienna... Sienna please go." Elijah pleaded, arms quivering as he coughed up more and more blood and bile, leaving a strong scent throughout the musky air. Why is life so hard? Why can't we all just be human and lead normal lives? If there was a wall here right about now I'd probably have the chance to bang my head into it repetitively, like what they always do in those cliché films when the protagonist is flustered. But then again it's normally on a locker where they can also bang their enraged fists. Oh typical high school drama, how I somewhat missed that. But no. I'm stuck here trying to help the boy I have a stupid secret crush on get through his transformation with the time for the train departure ticking away every second. And quite frankly, blood is my weak point. Yeah, not ideally a trait one should have in this current situation. But hey, being a hybrid comes with downsides.. Actually way more downsides then perks. Heck, I don't think my witchy powers really did me any good ever! Hence I'm trapped here in this scene where my attractive crush is coughing out that warm red liquid we all know so well. Lord have mercy. ---------------------------------------------------------- All Rights Reserved. Copyright ©UnVerseau 2012/2013. Editing Done : October 20th, 2014.
