It had been almost a year since Natsu and Lucy got married. They live in Natsu and Happy's house. They went on jobs with team Natsu, and everything was great. Then one day, Lucy began to feel sick and even threw up. She had been feeling bad for a while now. But she never said anything, it was sorta off and on, so she didn't want to worry anyone. The only one who knew was Levy. But when she threw up Natsu knew something was up. How will he react to her being Pregnant? Or how will they get by when they can barely make rent? ~~~~~~~~~~ Somehow, they'll get through. But their child's story won't end. It will continue, long after they are gone.

When Natsu and Lucy decide to go on a job to find and catch a thief, they have no idea what they are in for. When, as usual, the job ends in a disaster and they are trapped in a prison-cavern, Natsu and Lucy must face the fact that they are stuck. With no supplies to help them survive they must rely on the weekly arrival of food and water. But how long can meagre scraps support their ravaging hunger? As Natsu and Lucy's bond grows stronger and stronger, and they become weaker, Lucy must face the facts. When Lucy becomes deathly ill, the pair must find the will to survive while they hope for a shrinking chance at being rescued. But will being rescued be enough, of will their flickering hearts burn out.
