the winter of 1877 is coming, and it plans to hit hard. Jasper and Francis must protect their animals as much as possible before the season hits, and they plan to use their chickens for food; but a fox has other plans in mind. This sly fox has been stealing their chickens every night for the past week. If this fox keeps up its mannerisms, it could mean this winter will be much harder than the two men expected. (I plan for this to be a multiple chapters.)
