"I'm not your brother." A devil smile played on his lips. Elevating the right brow, I asked, "What do you mean?" My hand clenched the beer bottle as his gaze intruded into mine. I hated him. I told the ugliest things of my life to him. I confessed my darkest secrets to him. "I don't do the saving, princess. I'm not any white horse prince charming." He knelt down on the table. "I destroy. I'm not the prince." I should have avoided him. Should have seen the signs that I needed to stay away from him. Curling my lips, I tapped my index finger on the table. "Who said I need a prince? I'm not into boring guys." I wanted the thrill. I wanted the risk. I was tired of being enclosed inside my Medical books. I wanted different. "Different is dangerous, princess." My mood turned sour. He knew I hated that word. I wasn't any princess. I wasn't any damsel in distress. I had learned to toughen up. "Good thing." I took a swung of beer. "I love dangerous." "Don't expect me to mend you." He whispered. I never did. You didn't expect such things from your enemy.
