"I would like to point out my name is really Ella." We all know the fairy tale entitled Cinderella. It’s about a girl who works as a maid because her father died and her stepmother is awful to her. Then she gets a chance to go to the ball. At the ball she falls in love with the Prince. Then they lose each other, but Cinderella, the girl, also loses her shoe. This is used to track her down. All is then right with the world and Cinderella and the Prince get married. WRONG! That’s not how the story goes. That isn’t how the story really happened. For one thing, the story is really about a girl named Ella, not Cinderella. For another thing, who says only one person has a Fairy Godmother. Who says all Fairy Godmother’s have to be good? Why can’t there be an evil one?

Ashley Day is a sixteen year old dancer. She lives in fictional Anderson, Ia. Nothing huge happens there. But something will. Her dance life is about to bring a lot of interesting things to Anderson. It will cause something huge. Maybe not something huge in the grand scheme of the world, but something huge to her. Josh Gadman is a seventeen year old dancer. Like Ashley, he lives in Anderson. This huge something will effect him, too. Maybe more than one huge something will occur. Maybe the lives of a small group of people in Anderson will never be the same again. Just maybe. It's all because of a production dreaming dance instructor that anything happens. One little idea will spark the events for one of those huge somethings. And it's going to effect a lot of people. And maybe one of those other huge somethings will be the product of his original huge somethings. The huge something that will change Ashley and Josh forever.
