The United Sectors of Argyris was a masterpiece. Home to people from all walks of life, the nation was divided into eleven sectors. Each was named after a colour on the spectrum and was the central of a different area of profession. Much like the colours that stood for them, its people led vibrant lives surrounded by like-minded individuals, going about their day-to-day businesses. The land was a canvas on which the painters did their work, taking pride in the masterpiece they'd created together. But that was the Argyris of fourteen years ago. Fourteen years since the King passed away and twelve since the Queen took over, the world as Argyrians know it has fallen apart. Two years ago came the death of the nation's only hope-Prince Nicholas-who was counted on to succeed the throne. Beneath the surface of a nation torn to shreds and people constricted by fear, something was rising. A wildfire was blazing through the sectors. The Nixes were rising from the ashes and ready to take back what was rightfully theirs. This time, they'd paint a different picture. One that was simply the art of war.

Sickness. It bounds us, it controls us, traps us in its grasp. It battles our immune systems, destroys us from the inside out as our bodies desperately try to fend off the attackers. Sometimes they are weak- coughs and the flu and little things. Sometimes they're far more deadly.

The United States has fallen and become separated into just five different sectors: Northern States, Southern States, Western States, Eastern States, and the Central State. The Central State is the Capitol and they are recruiting young gifted children to test things on them. From each of the four surrounding sectors come six volunteers. They will each be given an elemental power. Through a series of tests, the scientists of the Central State will determine the effectiveness of this power. But beware those who volunteer for this. Only one will come out of this alive. The rest will die during testing. Will you be a strong enough volunteer to make it through this? (Great for fans of Nickelodeon's Avatar! Okay, I can't really say that with absolute certainty, because I honestly don't know what that even is, but hey, it might be good for all of you out there who do know what that is and are feeling insulted right now because I'm ignorant and know nothing about it... :P) Highest Rating: 34 in Sci-fi

➳➳➳ Books are wonderful things. They give us role models, fictional characters who we want to be like in real life. President Necare of Panem has discovered this, too. When revolution needs to be quenched, a Hunger Games is the perfect way to destroy it. And when inspiration for rebellion is identified in literature, it will be the first to fall. As the tributes fight through the fictional worlds of today's stories, the two head Gamemakers, Paella Andouille and Pluto Solaris, will make sure every aspect linked to uprising dies along with the children. ➳➳➳
