Even in a place full of people that all have problems like her, she still has no one. Emma her only friend, well ever; helps her out of her comfort zone. In this process Jessica falls in love with someone she would normal never think about talking to.

The Red Band Society: A group of teenagers living inside a hospital, the red bands? Their hospital bracelets. Kristen Noelle King is a 17 year old teenager living in the outskirts of London. When she mysteriously falls ill, her guardian sends her to Ocean Park Hospital in Los Angeles to be treated by the world renown Dr. McAndrew. Once she begins to get treated, she realizes that she needs someone in her life, that she doesn't want to be alone anymore.

The Red Band Society wasn't expecting anymore newbies to show up for a while. But, when a new girl shows up in the hospital for mysterious reasons that the gang just can't seem to figure out, will they let her in their club? More importantly, does she belong there? Follow Leo, Jordi, Dash, Emma, Kara, and even Charlie in their adventures within their all too familiar home, school, and hospital.
