Some say that everyone's fate is already determined. If that's the case, Estelle Marzena is greatly disappointed with hers. Her greatest dream is to participate in the Illyrian Blood Rite and become a Carynthian warrior, like so many in her family. She has been training for the Rite her entire life, and yet, she continues to be told that she isn't ready. Estelle must find a way to prove her skills to her mentors so that she can prove her skills to the world, and she might have unwittingly stumbled across a way to do that. Being the bastard son of the High Lord of Dawn isn't something Mikael Anik takes lightly. Despite his parents' love and acceptance, Mikael continued to feel the pressure and unease of his people. His birth parents never married and he is a Peregryn halfbreed, the likes of which had never become a High Lord before. Mikael is devoted to proving himself to both his fathers and his people, but can he do that and deal with a surprisingly irritating Shadowsinger at the same time? "The Cauldron Made me. But something older claimed me." Gaia Archeron was never chosen. Not by magic, not by fate. She was a girl who survived because no one expected her to. Until she died. And when death came, it didn't keep her. Not when an ancient power-older than the Cauldron, older than Prythian-answered a forgotten wish and pulled her back. Now, something stirs beneath her skin. Starborn. Hollowed. Changed. Not quite mortal. Not quite Made. But something in between. And the world that let her die is not ready for what she's become. OC X Rhysand ****Disclaimer**** This is a work of fanfiction based on the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. I do not own any part of the original universe, characters, or settings created by the author. All rights to the ACOTAR world belong to Sarah J. Maas and her publishers. Original characters, plotlines, and interpretations introduced in this story-such as Gaia Archeron and The Starborn Saga-are my own creation and meant for entertainment purposes only. This story is not intended for commercial use. First installment of The Starborn Saga ***Attention*** There will be some changes in the story line, but not enough that will mess with the original one.

Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: Warning: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent, with long-winded introspection and a major, major slowburn romance. Read at your own risk lol. Also if you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way.

Arya knew three things with absolute certainty: 1. Keep her identity a secret. 2. Keep the wings hidden. 3. Absolutely do not get tangled up with the Night Court. She has since broken all three. In her defense, nobody told her the Night Court came with three mates, a grim dog with opinions, and a prophecy older than the continent itself. Also in her defense, the last time anyone saw her she was six months old, so most of this is technically not her fault. A full ACOTAR rewrite - OC-centric, polyandry (OC X Rhys & Cassian & Azriel), slow burn, yearning, anti-Inner Circle, Virgin Bat Boys. Ancient lore. Plot twists. Therapy for everyone who's lived long enough to need it. Best Rankings: #1 Rhys #1 Azriel #1 Cassian #1 ACOTAR #1 ACOTAR Fic #1 ACOTAR AU #1 Rhysand x OC #1 Cassian x OC #1 Azriel x OC

Her life has been one of ritual, restraint, and restless longing for answers she knows she'll never have. Until Hybern. Mere months after Amarantha's fall, soldiers descend on Cesere and the High Lord of the Night Court finds Nephele bleeding and burnt beneath the worst of Hybern's males. Rhysand offers her refuge in the House of Wind, a sanctuary carved into the mountainside beneath a starlit sky that watches over the dreamlike city of Velaris. Yet grief leaves Neph hollow, and nightmares of blood-stained snow and a tether to something unknown stalk her sleep in the library at the heart of the House. Something stirs in her blood. A power she never knew . . . another truth she was never told. A bloodline buried beneath a life built on lies. Night's spymaster, 𝑨𝒛𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒍, is just as drawn to her as his shadows are. Night's general, 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏, is haunted by a familiarity he cannot make sense of. Nephele is desperate to uncover what was taken from her as war builds on the horizon. Every truth unraveled makes the world tremble beneath her feet. She never could've predicted what life beyond temple walls had waiting for her . . . And she certainly never expected that it would be two Illyrian warriors who would finally awaken the 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 within her heart.

They called her the Mad One long before she ever broke. Born into the Night Court with the mark of the Cauldron glowing faintly over her heart, Nerai was never meant to survive. Her father's cruelty forged her power; his torment made her silence infamous. By five, she could command air with a glance. By six, she'd accidentally killed ten courtiers who mocked her mother. By ten, her name was spoken only in whispers - a warning to children of what happened when gods answered too loudly. But Nerai was not mad. She was merely awake. And when war came for her family, it was not death that claimed her - it was the Cauldron itself. Drawn into its depths, her body vanished, her memories stripped away. The Night Court mourned a daughter lost to legend. Centuries later, Prythian trembles. Magic fractures, and silence spreads like a sickness across the courts. The whispers begin again: the Mad One walks. A woman with white hair and silver eyes emerges from the ruins of a forgotten temple - calm, otherworldly, powerful enough to unmake reality with a thought. She does not remember who she was. But the Cauldron does. When Rhysand sends Azriel to trace the strange magic devouring the land, he finds what no one believed possible - the High Lord's sister, alive, unaging, and changed into something beyond mortal or fae. And as the world begins to unravel, one truth becomes clear: the Mad One has returned, and this time, even silence may not save them.

ACOTAR- Azriel/OC Volume I in the A Court of Secrets Series - Five hundred years ago, the Princess of the Night Court was slaughtered in the Illyrian wilderness. Her wings were torn from her back. Her head was put in a box and thrown down the river for her brother to find. Her story ended the way it was told- through blood and suffering and death. At least, that's what everyone thought. But there are secrets she took to the grave- And one of them is that she's still alive. Now, as war with Hybern looms and the cracks in the Night Court begin to splinter, her return sets off a chain reaction that no one is ready for. Allegiances shift. Truths are questioned. And the story everyone thought they knew begins to unravel- One bloody, burning lie at a time. - Special thanks to @fxckmiup and @crimson_text for their support, encouragement, and editing.
