Even after becoming rank 1, she trains daily and became known as the Ice Queen of Tennis. As her title states, her tennis play is like playing in a frozen court and those who challenge her fail miserably. 2 weeks after Ryoma's arrival to Japan, she returns home on a break to catch up with her brother.

She and her brothers have been learning how to play tennis at a young age. Although she had been living in America for several years and came back to Japan and applied for the same school as Ryoma. Seigaku. The Seigaku team and herself get invited to go on a cruise by a so-called 'millionaire' Sakurafubuki and made them become hostages.
