Rebuild the civilization, skip 2 million years of evolution, and go straight for quite advanced science. Mother Earth, which had almost four millennia to fix itself, was now again quite healthy, giving humans a big chance to advance in their science. But still, they were just teens, rebuilding a scientific civilization, getting robbed of their last three years of freedom. Who'd want that? Getting robbed of high school romance and drama.
