Already loving Thor and Loki as if they were her brothers, the young girl had no trouble with it and carried on having a happy childhood -- with grief for her parents heavy on her heart -- and continued to do so until it all came crashing down and the young girl learning that she was going to have to marry Thor, the person she thought of as a brother Not wanting to live her life married to a man she did not deeply love, the night before the wedding Freya enlists the help of Loki and Heimdall to help her escape from Asgard so she does not have to marry Thor.
