The follow up book to my story 1966 and the final book of my Kennedy series. In 1968, Jack is ready to retire and leave as President. His final days in the White House are perfect. With Jackie by his side and with 5 gorgeous children, he couldn't ask for anything more.

After the events of 22nd November 1963, Jack struggles to cope. He really struggle’s to get his life back on track. It’s unclear to the American people how badly their President has been affected but inside the White House it’s clear Jack is lost and confused. Will the help of his family pull Jack through? And help him back to his normal self?

She was the epitome of elegance, grace, and beauty. Any man of importance would be lucky to have a woman like her by his side. They we're close-too close-closer than they'd been in years. The closeness felt wrong, but she couldn't tear herself away. She could smell him; his cool scent was simultaneously familiar and foreign to her. She looked into his eyes; though he seemed a stranger, they somehow still felt like home. It was only a second, a practically imperceptible exchange, yet it felt eternal. A moment of contemplation, of clarity, as if everything they had fought to suppress-the emotions they had decided were better to subdue-resurfaced right then and there. In November 1959, Senator Jack Kennedy meets the beautiful journalist Jacqueline Bouvier. Despite his ambitions for 1960, he falls for her. Little does he realise the effort it will take to stop anyone finding out about his relationship. With the Presidential Campaign burning on everyone's mind, no one seems to care that Jack has fallen madly in love. The campaign becomes a rollercoaster of late night dates and secret moments of passion but problems occur when what Jack wants is different from what his Father wants. Will he find true happiness?
