Students of Greek culture hear stories of Theseus and the Minotaur, the Labors of Heracles, and how Perseus slew Medusa, and draw lessons and conclusions from them. Demigods live by these myths. Many modern events and people too live on in demigod history. One event which, in time, will earn itself a place among the great battles of history such as the Trojan War or Gettysburg is the Chicago Incident. One event, which forever changed human history. The names of Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Frank Zhang, and Clarisse La Rue, among others, will go down in history as the great martyrs of their time.
