It's a new year and everyone is now a high school first year. Kaori's operation was successful and the doctor said she had another five years to live. She and Kousei are enjoying all the time they have together by performing and hanging out after school. After falling down the stairs at school near the end of her second high school year, she fears things are going to go downhill again. !!!EDITS WILL USUALLY HAPPEN AT RANDOM TIMES IN RANDOM ORDER!!!

An AU where Kaori's surgery becomes a success and she lives. - Maybe she didn't have to go. Maybe the ending they deserved did happen. And although the letter Kousei was meant to have read once she was gone was private, he still found his way to read it even after her life was saved.
