He gets good grades, he loves to swim, and he has great friends that he loves more than anyone in the world. He's the perfect teenager really. At least that's what everyone else things. In reality, he gets abused, physically and emotionally, by his drunk father, Grisha Jaeger. The household is definitely not perfect, and Eren has mastered the art of foundation.
