Rowan is 16 with dark waist long, brown hair and emerald green eyes. When shopping with her best friend Skylar, she finds a ring and is amazed by it. This ring is not just a pretty ring but the last ring of the werewolves. Long ago the first werewolves made fifteen rings. The rings each held a special ancient power. The power of plants, fire, earth, cold, lightning, water, metal, air, light, dark, invisibility, music, animals and seasons. The last one held the power of all of them. A beat of a second passed before he slowly pulled away from me, the suffocating heat withdrawing with him as he straightened up. My eyes lifted to meet his as he released his hold on my knife, and I flicked my wrist, flipping it with ease so my hands closed around its smooth, still-warm handle. The room was silent.
