"No." Midoriya felt crushed and he ducked his head down, trying to smile. "O-Oh...." Suddenly, the child felt fingers wrap around his shoulder and he was brought into a one-armed hug. Rene flipped his fedora off of his head with his free hand before stuffing it onto Izuku's head, smiling gently. "Because I know you'll be something even greater." Izuku felt his eyes flood with tears as he tilted the fedora out of his line of sight to look up at Rene. "Y-You...really think so?" Rene chuckled, his usually dull eyes lit with genuine joy. "I know so." He replied softly.
