The events of "The Darkest Hour" reach their dramatic conclusion as Mei gives it her all in trying to bring back the Yuzu she once knew. But not until she sacrifices every desire that stands in her way will the monstrous Zu fade into oblivion, and Mei determines to do so in the most emotional way possible... Hey guys, this is BigPoppaAihara, and as I am writing this introduction I am actually still writing chapter 14, found in "Arc Two: Eve of Daybreak." But at any rate, the dark fanfic novel finally gets its happy ending, and I am overflowing with excitement to put it into writing! Unfortunately, however, this aforementioned ending cannot be reached without passing through a great crisis that neither of our lesbian lovers have ever gone through before, nor will they do so again. As a spoiler, the chapter recounting this crisis will contain considerable violence and gore, but it will all be worth it in the end as Yuzu and Mei reunite in splendor.
