conflate /kən - flāt/ v. 1. combine (two or more) persons, colors, ideas, etc 2. something fallon and bellamy do not do- at first they're like water and oil. vinegar and bleach. leonardo dicaprio and oscars. they don't mix- at least, until bellamy does something nice for a change, and fallon realizes that maybe he isn't as bad as she originally thought. maybe. ©stilestastic 2015 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝟎 | 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟏 - 𝟐 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy. Liz Dolan has put her life on hold for many reasons. Good ones, too (or so she keeps telling herself). Steve Rogers is trying to stumble forward with his life in a world that seems almost alien. When Steve moves into the Washington, D.C. apartment building owned by the Dolan family, John "Pops" Dolan continues trying to jump-start his granddaughter Liz's case of arrested development while trying to help the incognito super soldier adjust to life in a new century. Steve Rogers / OFC. This story starts approximately one year after the events of "The Avengers" and about one year before the events of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". *** Wattpad Featured Story: March 28, 2016 ***

"My hands are stained with dirt. And they always will be." ~ Lillian Nightshade; assassin, Captain America's girlfriend, and number one magnet for bullsh*t and bad luck. For her entire life, she's been told what to, who to kill, who she is, and what she's meant to be. And now? Thanks to her history of daddy issues that could rival Shellhead's, she finds herself kidnapped by father of the year Loki Laufeyson and held hostage in a realm far from her favourite boy toy's reach. Asgard. Struggling with her own sense of identity whilst simultaneously trying to escape the clutches of a god with fabulously glorious hair, by the time Lillian finds herself returning to the world she knows, she begins to notice a suspicious amount of change within it. HYDRA apparently died with the Red Skull, SHIELD hasn't fallen, the battle of Braga never went down, and Steve Rogers doesn't seem to remember her. It's almost as if she's... Gone back in time? Between balancing the timeline, trying not to spoil the future, righting wrongs committed the first time around and dealing with a butt tonne of family drama, Lillian simply can't catch a break from all the bad luck she attracts. Throw a familiar metal armed World War II soldier turned HYDRA weapon into the mix, and the Nightingale might just be in over her head. In spite of it all, will the two complete opposites, Steve and Lillian, find their way to each other's lives once again? Or is their romance lost, a faded memory stored away for rainy days? For she may have their love to light the way, but where there is light, there will always be its older sibling. Darkness. BOOK TWO OF THE NIGHTINGALE CHRONICLES **I obviously don't own any Marvel or comic characters. I only half of the plot, Lillian Nightshade, Samuel Hemmings and a few other characters that appear later on in the book. All other rights are reserved to Marvel and DC comics.**

High school. It's difficult enough to navigate on its own. Especially when you were quick-witted, bitterly sarcastic, and emotionally constipated with a bad case of verbal diarrhea. And yes she was aware of the inherent contradiction contained within that phrase. When Charlie Oswin moved to Beacon Hills to live with her aunt after the death of her father, she thought the worst she'd have to deal with was gossip, term papers, and her new best friend and across-the-street neighbor Lydia Martin lipsticking her to death in the never-ending quest to make Charlie socially acceptable. Actually Lydia had described it more as avoiding becoming a 'facepalm-inducing embarrassment'. But for a tiny town that was 90% forest with only one functional movie theater, there sure seemed to be a lot of people dying. There was something going on in Beacon Hills--something off. Enter one Stiles Stilinski. He was a twitchy, sarcastic weirdo, and she definitely appreciated that in a person. He and his friend Scott McCall also happened to be at the center of every strange thing that was going on in this weird-ass town. It was one giant mystery. And she was going to figure out what it was. She just never expected to stop being scary and defensive long enough to start developing actual human feelings along the way. Eventual Stiles/OC Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Wolf. Shocking, right? But I don't. All I own is Charlie Oswin and my other OCs. There will also be a bunch of other fandom references in the story from shows like Supernatural, Parks & Rec, Misfits (the bear vs shark debate!), and Joss Whedon stuff because I love my fandoms dearly! The cover was made for me by the lovely and amazing missjanuarylily of tumblr!!!!

Camilla 'Millie' Evans has been best friends with Scott and Stiles for years. It's their fault as to why she got so deep into the supernatural world with no escape. She's part of it; part of something terrifying and so totally foreign to her. She's been thrown into the unknown and there's no way out.
