Ever since he was twelve years of age he hasn't been able to hear a single word spoken by anyone. People assume that since he's deaf to the world he will always remain silent, and since that's what they expected from him he stopped speaking to people. He always found comfort in himself and his grand piano. He lived alone and had few friends, the friends he did have only felt bad for him. Everything changed when he crossed paths with a raven haired boy who couldn't tell the colour red from green but still managed to paint the most magnificent magnolias he's ever seen. They seemed to have an instant connection and Dan was afraid of that. Dan now must open the door to his isolated world and allow the boy become apart of his life and learn that the world can be just as beautiful, even with a disability.
