(This is my first story. Hope you like it!) This is the love story about Spencer Reid and (Y/N) it shows how you fall in love while working through cases at the BAU. (This story's P.O.V switches between first person and third person and also has some content that may be inappropriate for younger audiences.)

UP TO CHAPTER 14 REVISED. I will not be revising anymore. The BAU heads off the Hill Lake, MN to catch a serial killer that strangles their victims. However, this case is not all that it seems. When the UNSUB takes Reid hostage, the team has two days to find him or else the Hill Lake Strangler will have another victim.

Spencer Reid. He is the genius of the FBI agents at the BAU. He's a socially awkward genius. He has pretty much no skill with the ladies but the ladies love him lol. There's a new FBI agent, Lyndze, he think she's beautiful. He wants to get to know her and he tries to profile her,analyzing her, but she's too closed off he wants to be closer to her closer than just colleagues. And when they do get closer, what's going to happen? Will their love last? Or will it be torn apart? *I ONLY OWN MY CHARACTERS NOT THE CHARACTERS FROM CRIMINAL MINDS*

"Well, it's Alice now," I correct him, and his brow furrows. "No, it's not." I roll my eyes. "Yes, Spencer. It's Alice. I didn't change my name for people to go poking around in my past." "But what's your real name, the one your mother and father gave you shortly after your birth?" I hesitate slightly before clearing my throat. "Lena Alice Portman." It takes me not a moment to realize he found it all out. "You're lying," he informs me.

Maybe it was just bad timing. Maybe it was a more downplayed version of Romeo and Juliet; bad fate. After all, he had lost his first love, Maeve, right before his eyes. How does one get over something like that? I had been in an abusive relationship two years prior. I never got over that.
