"You will pay for this,"screamed a voice, as metal clashed with metal. "Foolish girl, your blood was all we needed. Yet, you refused us. It is only fair that your friends pay for your folly." There was a shout and a low thud as Ahsid closed her eyes, the darkness threatening to consume her existence. Nobody would hurt her friends, not anymore as Dane's broken face and Zion's frightened voice loomed deep in her mind's eye. "Ignite,"she screamed as she felt the blood rush to her head, an immense bright flare consuming her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A young teenager finds a break from her monotonous life when she meets a Wielder, encroaching into a world unknown to the one that she lives in. As she tries to find her place among the vampires, werewolves and demons from Hell, she finds herself targeted by an unknown entity. The powers which she had once trusted resulted on her journey to doom. Can she trust the right person to save her from the mess? Will she find the true purpose of her life? Or will she perish in the wake of the obstacles that threaten to break her very embodiment and spirit?

Struggles have never been so beautiful. TENDER by FULLOFMOON is an exploration of the human experience, delving into abstract yet universal struggles. Through experimental use of various literary devices, classical references, political theories, economic concepts, and diverse structures, it addresses uncomfortable emotions, world systems, existential questions, and infatuations (with people, things, and the self.) By employing relatable subject matter and simple language, TENDER seeks to show how deeply beautiful our tender encounters truly are. Book cover photo credits: Reylia Slaby - Dagny Tarver

it's hard to explain the incomprehensible and overwhelming emotion, and lack of emotion, that I've been bearing for so long on my own. you can't fathom the inability to move, speak, eat, think, or even see clearly in this time of irregularity. all I can really describe is the hollow feeling of dragging this shell of a body with me. i'm trapped in myself. when one is like this, you know that you're not really... you. *** The way I've chosen to write every word - including the formatting, punctuation, and capitalization errors - represent symbolic significance to me. Explaining everything would expose my personal life in ways that I am extremely uncomfortable with, so please forgive me for anything that disturbes you. In this collection of poetry, I tend to us descriptively vague language to describe specific situations and emotions I've felt, and continue to feel, for the most part. I invite you to guess the battles and experiences I've written about, and to try and find the underlying meanings I've placed in each set of words. Or, even better, find your own meaning. I know that no one might care, but I've written these emotions for the purpose of expressing my distraught, and I am publishing this in an effort to reach out to others in the midst of their own wars.
