This is the first book in the Dragonspawn series. The story of the Dragons is a long and dreary one. A long, long time ago, the vast world we all know and love was ruled by Dragons. The city had been built to hold peace for all of the races of Cloudrend. The threat of the Dragons was vanquished, the Dragons themselves were extinct, and Cloudrend was completely peaceful.
