You don't have that same intense curiosity in your eyes anymore, and you know it. You stopped fanning the spark, and let the flames settle down. Everyone knows how much of you the blaze consumed, but you don't have to do none of that for us; None of this will get it all back, and we all missed the forest anyways. Thankfully it will grow back in the time between now and eternity; And knowing you, that's got to be your plan. You're smart, you know you need the trees, and soft grounds to walk across. What happened to your wilderness will always be a singe to your senses, but it won't bother you so much. You know you've got to be able to start again from your beginnings and never breathe a word about your loss - That's the joy of growth. Yes there is much to be sowed, as infinite to be reaped. Would you know the difference between self and wheat!

A girl receives a letter from the mother who abandoned her years ago, leaving her to deal with the remnants of their broken family alone. She attempts to respond by bottling her emotions into the chaotic lines of poems, as old scars are reopened. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> dear whoever this falls into the hands of, i forgive you for your theft of my poems because i picture you as robin hood and instead of stealing riches--you collect stories taking from those with too much to say but not enough time; whose pockets are full with too many words demanding to be heard giving to those who have not found their voice; whose vocal cords have broken for fear of what may escape their lips and for that, you are more than a common criminal--but, a messenger you prefer to carry a pen rather than sandals for the black ink that stains minds is the fuel that flies you between realms i hope my story saves someone who needs it someone like me and i can help them see what once i was blinded to that hope is reborn into an infinite amount of incarnations it's all a matter of knowing where to look and this is the story of how i found it in lilies <><><><><><><><><><> Winner of the Young Adult Awards *lowercase is intended* *all works are completely fictional* credit for the amazing cover goes to @centrifugal

Drops of Poetry It's raining outside my window Just like my emotions inside me The taste of the salty rain and sorrow Every problem falls on me like rain I catch it with my hand Turning it to rhymes and names I'm soaking wet from where I stand I don't care if I'm under a storm All I know is those little drops are stories Every day I learn new things from this horror But I can turn them into drops of poetries. This is a compilation of my poems :)

The thoughts I have when I just can't sleep. Some are loving, others are haunting but all exist because I. can't. sleep.
