Well in this book it turns out it's just Poseidons daughter, with a little someone you might know as the mother. But Sally ends up adopting the neglected child as her own. After they find out who she is and Percy developes a small relationship with her of course. Yet of course though Sally is pregnant with another girl (Trials Of Apollo spoilers sorry).
