Her dream was to enter the prestigious Ouran Academy by applying to the scholarship program and even took the exam, but what she didn't know was that Fujioka Haruhi, the top student of her class was also applying. She always came close second to Fujioka and thought she had a chance, but being tied on the entrance exam wasn't good enough. One was chosen over the other. She was devastated knowing that coming home second to someone, she'd suffer the consequences. She was never normal. Heck, she wasn't even close. Ever since she was little, she could DO things. But one thing she could never do was control it. That inability to control it made her commit a terrible mistake. So since then, she secluded to wear gloves. And locked herself in her own little world. She never wanted to be this way, no one wants to be secluded from everyone, but she knew that by doing so she was protecting them. Not only that but, no one even dared to approach her. Why? Well.... Its all in her eyes, the ones behind her big glasses. The eyes that they call the "Butterfly Eyes". Ever since preschool, they called her horrible names, when all she wanted to do was make friends. But she knew it was her reality. So her solution was to cover up one eye with her bangs. She wanted to open up, she really did, but....she couldn't. And every time she did, she'd get hurt. The thing is that, her gloves didn't only hid her abilities... Would Sayomi ever enter Ouran? And if she did, does that mean that Haruhi would need to leave since there could only be ONE scholarship student? This is my first story so it might not be as great but this story is based on real life events, two bestfriends that are in love with eachother but they know that aren't made for eachother.
