Sakura's death happened as a result of her two teammates' fight to the death. Naruto's attempt to change Sasuke wasn't going as expected, and now they were about to kill each other with their final blow. Naruto's intention had been to let Sasuke win and pierce through his body. But Sakura witnessed this whole thing and jumped between. It was a sickening feeling. Seeing two of the most important people in her life trying to kill each other. It was terribly wrong. In the spur of the moment, she flickered between them and took on their blows. It was abrupt and so quick that it felt like a dream. Except the pain was real. But she knew one thing for sure. She would do it over and over again if she had to. Because she wanted to protect them. That was supposed to be the end. But then she's startled awake by their Academy teacher and finds that she's returned to her twelve year old self. A seventeen year old in a twelve year old's ody. Naruto Mitarashi. The abandoned child of Kushina Uzumaki, left to die in the village, after his father's death. All because his mother thought he was a demon. Abandoned by his godfather, because he wasn't the child of prophecy, abandoned by his father last student, because he reminded him too much of Minato. All Naruto had was Hiruzen and Anko, a man who had had a lifetime of failures, and a woman hated and distrusted by the village but when they look down at the baby boy, they see in him a chance. For Anko she saw herself in the boy. And saw the chance, to give him the life she always wished she had for Hiruzen a chance that his final legacy won't be one of failure. Naruto will be his last legacy, his last student.

Naruto Uzumaki. He can be explained to you, by the citizens and Academy children in Konoha as a knucklehead dead last who has no real place in life. He is completely undermined, misjudged, and mistreated. However, after one fateful event, everyone changed their tune and so did Naruto. How will those who have tried getting Naruto to fuck off react when the blonde finally does what they ask and focuses his attention on other things?

He was changing. Naruto's personality had been in a downward spiral since his mission to the Land of Waves. It was subtle at first, but now Minato doesn't even recognize his son after seven years. Hell, he barely even sees his son. After he transferred to the ANBU, Naruto rarely ever came home, and even when he did, he was cold, distant, and angry. His mission reports had become increasingly concerning. Naruto's new apathetic attitude toward his team, friends, sensei, and even his father worried the Hokage more than anything. An emotionless Shinobi was never a good thing, and it was even worse for a Jinchuuriki. Itachi Uchiha was the only thing that seemed to help for a while, but it was false hope. When Minato learns that Naruto was the sole perpetrator of an attempted fratricide incident during a crucial mission in Iwa, he is forced to confront the issue. But at this point, Minato is certain that his son might be too far gone to be saved.

(This is the sequel to my story, Six Years Too Long. You'll need to read that first to understand this one!) Six years after Minato Namikaze rose from the dead, Naruto's graduated the academy with a field of flowers in his mind and the best friends he could've ever asked for. Everything seems like it's going well... until it's not. Conspiracies within the village are keeping Minato on his toes, and Naruto's goal of world peace only seems to get further and further away from him as the Akatsuki stir and start to raise their heads. There are unknown enemies lurking around every corner, and it's up to Naruto and Kurama to stop them-- and who knows, maybe they'll have a little help when they do. (In the distance, the remnants of Uzu call, getting louder and louder each day. Naruto doesn't know what it means for him or for the rest of Team 7, but as the pull gets stronger and stronger, he has a feeling he's going to find out.) The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. Needless to say, the blonde kage wasn't expecting so much time to have passed. Nor is he very impressed with the way the village has been treating his son all these years.

Iruka takes Mizuki's shuriken to the back in place of Naruto. Thinking Iruka to be dead, Naruto loses control and prepares to unleash the Kyuubi, however before he can tear off the seal, he is stopped by the hand of his hero. The Yondaime Hokage...

What if four things happened? Tsunade got over the deaths of her loved ones and stayed in Konoha, Orochimaru never sought immortality, Jiraiya kept his promise to raise Naruto, and Naruto is raised by all three of the Sannin since he was two? A super powered, genius Naruto that's what.
