Sixteen year old, Tim Hemlock has never really been accepted, not since fifth grade anyways. He's been judged since his class found out that his mom killed her classmate, Abigail Nicely. To make matters worse the upper classmen bully him. He's late three times to class because of this and gets a detention. On the way home he meets a girl named Amy, and they bond instantly.
