Professor Layton and Luke travel to Paris to help Inspector Vergier catch the Rhythm Thief, Phantom R. They meet a young detective, Lana Hope. Phoenix, Maya, Pearls, Trucy, Athena and Apollo head to Paris on holiday hoping not to defend anyone. That all changes for them as they are dragged into one situation then another. Everything was fine and dandy for young Yugi Moto, but something went terribly wrong. After a duel with a shady figure, The Pharaoh (aka Yami Yugi) became isolated, he never came out of his puzzle, never gave advice, never showed any sign of life. Yugi was very worried and tried to communicate through the puzzle, yet nothing happened, it was as if the Pharaoh wasn't even there. Yugi knew something was wrong and had to find help. He searched far and wide for someone who could crack the case, only to find one single clue; The simple Labyrinth Puzzle that held the Pharaoh's soul room had been changed into a larger world of puzzles that were far too great for Yugi to solve alone. He called his friends and looked everywhere for help, only stopping the search when he found a news article, announcing Professor Layton was the new Puzzle Master. At that moment, Yugi knew he had to find the Professor before it was too late, but can he ever do it? NOTE: I DO NOT OWN YUGIOH NOR PROFESSOR LAYTON!

This is a story based on the Professor Layton games for DS and 3DS. It is set after the fifth game, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED IT. NB: There are some discrepancies between the timeline of this story and the third game (PL and the Lost/Unwound Future) because I played Miracle Mask and started writing this story before I played Lost Future.

As he returns to his "normal" life on patrol, he wanders confused nearly everywhere. Then, one day, she comes. Clive's life is soon to take a major flip but he doesn't know if it's for worse, or for better.
