Ash Ketchum, a boy who people bully insult and break because he has no family. Ash does nothing to fight back even though he has gifts any one can wish for. He is fed up with his life ever since his childhood friend left him but he's forgotten about her... but has she? Serena lives in Kalos and is the princess as her mom is the Kalos Queen. She is friends with top battler Calem Xavier and performer Shauna, and has a pretty decent life. What will happen when Ash and Serena come across each other once more?

After Two years of not seeing one another Ash and Serena are about enter each other's lives again. Here they meet two young trainers who will play a crucial part in their journey and share similar problems. Fate shall play it's hand in a dangerous conflict within the Hoenn region. Will Ash, Serena and their new companions be able to overcome these perils or will this be the end of our heroes; you'll have to read to find out.

After yet another defeat in the League, Ash breaks down mentally. He felt this was the year he would win - even with the strong team of his - he managed to scupper on the final hurdle. However, his friends have been successful, Clemont getting recognised for his inventions and getting offered a role as Professor Sycamore's assistant and Serena becoming Kalos queen and famous worldwide and young Bonnie being tipped to be Lumious City gym leader. These roles for his companions have made them busy with their lives, while Ash dwells on yet another defeat - he thinks he is a forgotten man and disappears without any one knowing...
