A short collection of modern war poetry 1995 - 2014 Highly personal, this short anthology draws on the writer's experiences as a soldier and officer of the British Army in conflict zones in Europe, Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan. Although, the majority of these poems are previously unpublished, a number were published in the 2011 anthology 'Heroes: 100 Poems from the new generation of war poets' published by Ebury press. The 'Heroes' poems were selected for publication by a panel that included Carol Ann Duffy (the UK Poet Laureate), Simon Rae (Radio 4's 'Poetry Please') and General Lord Dannatt The poem 'Care Under Fire' was featured on BBC TV's 'The One Show'. Open-minded and flexible, with a broad range of interests and abilities. Needs to live life in accordance with their inner values. Disorganized. Prone to losing things. Irresponsible. Acts without thinking. Likely to have or want a tattoo. Rule breaker. Easily distracted. Comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Attracted to strange things and counterculture. Non-punctual. Likes to stand out. Prone to fantasy. Easily talked into doing silly things. Spontaneous. Wild and crazy. Pleasure seeking, risk taking, thrill seeking, fun seeking. Adventurous. Hyperactive. Irrational. Likes to try new things, unconventional, energetic, impulsive, dangerous. Gabriella Lives with her mother and father and little brother kayden. Gabriella often wishes if she had an older sibling who could be with her, have fun and help with her studies. her family addresses her as Gab. she is not much close to her family and cousins. She often gets teased by them. she feels she is not supposed to be treated like that. she is not. she feels nobody likes her. she is struggling with her life. The fun in her life vanished when she was only 8 years old, in School. She is left alone, in lunch time at school, she thinks she is a mistake in this world, she thinks her life is not perfect, nobody's is. but gab thinks so.
