A 12th grader named Kourtney Wells, had just transferred from Verton High School in Jackson, Misisssippi to JordanVille High in Chicago, Illinois where she found her self mixed up with a set of new friends who introduced her to a more rebellious life. She then cross paths with a hood/thug who happens to be a member of the Crip gang. Her boy bestfriend Khalil on the other hand, who moved to Chicago couple months before her, eventually got caught up and became a member of the Blood gang.
