Once my subconscious catches up to me, I cry out again, making Xavier curse loudly and pull out the knife. Unstrapping me from the torture board. He sets me down and looks at me. At the same time, we both utter a word. "Mate." He softly says. "Fuck." I swear. Oh shit!
