In the near future, witches are banished to another planet. The Deportation is the greatest stain on humanity to date. When a youth group at a contemporary mega church is kidnapped by a seductive warlock, their only chance of survival is a small clan of young witches. In the future, witches are banished to their own planet in what is known as the Deportation. Except witches control the Hex drive, an intergalactic star ship which can bridge the deep gulf between stars. In its infinite wisdom, Earth has spared the life of the witches in exchange for their use of the Hex drive. When Arii, a young girl from Earth dabbles in the dark craft, she is drawn into a web of deceit cast by the witches who want two things, revenge and an end to latent magic skipping a generation. It's the bane of their society the dreaded Rocus Born. Saxon is a warlock, cast from his coven and banished by his family. Employing the help of a clan of young witches, he hopes to seduce the human Arii into helping him to complete a ritual of genetic tie, which will eliminate the ever increasing malignancy of a witches power being handed down every other generation. Saxon is young and attractive and has latent charisma in his blood, which should attract Arii like a moth to a flame. He's confident the young pup will fall under his spell, but in a sick turn of events, Jasper and his Clan are struck with sympathy for the group from earth. They must determine a plan to thwart the powerful Saxon, who is consumed by the evil forces from the dark side of the planet. This is a young adult novel about witches. I only have a few chapters written and I'm hoping you avid readers will tell me if I should spend another year finishing it. Please comment yes, keep writing, or no, throw it in the trash. Disclaimer: I will be e-publishing the actual book, so be advised ahead of time, thanks.

"A really strong woman accepts the war she went through and is ennobled by her scars." ~Carly Simon The year is 2167. Space travel is commonplace, and human colonies exist across three close solar systems called the Triquetra. And a terrible war wages on the planet Shiuq, which has produced more deaths than any war the galaxy has witnessed in centuries. Syarrhe is a member of the Cerridwen military, Cerridwen being the only non-Earth planet dominated by humans. She's offered a position as an officer if she can help stem the war on Shiuq, not knowing that this will lead her to uncover the truth behind her parents' death, the existence of her monk sister, and a forgotten tome that risks all order the Triquetra knows. As the stakes increase for each mission she goes on and as her own knowledge of order and the galaxy is tested, Syarrhe finds herself in something much bigger than a simple land war, much more complicated than the usual past of orphaned siblings- and it seems that, even in space, fate has a hand in everything... ~Contains mild language, sexual references, and mild violence.

The novel starts as Imperial troops land on the Chatham Islands a small settlement 680km southeast of the New Zealand mainland it signals the start of a new world war with the United American Empire against the United Nations. Leading to the takeover of the small outpost, the UAE had annexed Central and South America all in the name of securing the Empire against immigration, drugs and native population violence. With nowhere else to go it was a choice between crossing the South Atlantic into Africa or west across the Pacific into New Zealand. With UNDF forces left in Africa after the combined Imperial and UN War of the Warlords it was a harder nut to crack. So it was a matter of time when the cold war between the two forces started. The story focuses on soldiers on both sides as the UNDF lands in the top of the South Island and the UAE forces land in the bottom of the South.
