They say the end of the world started in a military lab. Some poor bastard who'd agreed to take part in one of those experiments-for-cash programs, signing his body and blood away, all the in the name of science, just so he could afford to buy food for his kids. 'They were all meant to be given placebos', they said. Except he wasn't given a placebo. He was given something else, something terrible, whether on purpose or by accident, I guess we'll never know, but what I do know is that it never started with him. It started with her. With Alice. My Alice.

Once upon a time, in a land known as Nuvinia, there were two statements that all inhabitants knew to be fact. First, the two kingdoms of Nuvinia, Dral and Proghund, despised one another and would spend eternity at odds. Two, one should practice extreme caution when at sea, because the waters were infested with seductive sirens who would happily sing you to your grave. For a young siren named Vivian, there were also two statements that had always been accepted as fact. One, she must not reach the age of eighteen before mating with and drowning a human man, or else be cast out from her pod to fend for herself. And two, she could not kill someone, even a human, for it would tear her apart. But she has to try. Just twenty-eight days before her birthday, Vivian sets out to find her victim. A quick turn of events results in her being taken aboard first a ship captained by a handsome Dralian pirate and then the boat of the dashing Proghundese prince himself. In the days that follow, Vivian explores the human world and its inhabitants instead of searching for a victim as her family believes she is doing-and the more that she does, the more she resents what she must do in order to stay with them. As she becomes friends with the prince and the pirate, Vivian discovers that her true destiny is to follow her heart rather than please others. And if she's lucky, Vivian may even stop a deadly war during her journey to find where she truly belongs. AWESOME cover by @elphadora!!

Four unmarked survivors. One totalitarian government. A fight to keep their humanity intact. 100 years into the future, the E-91 virus has thrust the world into chaos. For Rachel Wilson, survival hasn't come easy. For the last fifteen years, she's lived in the wilderness, just out of reach of the Council of Nations. Until one day, poachers--the section of law enforcement tasked with hunting the Unmarked--raid her home and she is forced to go on the run. Weary from the attack, but certainly not broken, she ventures into a dangerous world with only her fiery determination to survive. In what appears to be a stroke of good luck, she is rescued by an underground movement working towards bringing down the capital or die trying. Death over mark, that had always been the mantra. Because the alternative-becoming a mind-controlled soldier to fight the capital's war-was a fate worse than death. ***What other readers are saying about Marked*** "You've done a wonderful job of creating and molding this couple into real people. Now, they practically breathe!" -thebirdwhisperer "This is incredible! I was holding my breath for a second there because everything was so good and the action felt so rea!!!" -titanic123 "I rarely comment as I'm not very good with words. But I have to tell you I enjoyed your book so much. I cried and laughed, bit my nails and rooted the characters on as if they were my family." -leenafrog

The colorful flowers and grass of the field were buffeted by a large gust of wind, as if someone had turned on a fan suddenly. Ashlyn stood there, staring at her surroundings curiously, wondering at the sudden wind that seemed to have no effect on her. It would stop, only to come back a few seconds later. Suddenly this 'wind' picked up speed and out of the sky dropped a dragon. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ashlyn screamed. Before her stood a magnificently beautiful, yet terrifying, dragon. He was black as night, with a thick whit scar running up his forearm. His large, soft looking wings were tucked to his sides for better mobility when on the ground. And don't get me started on the terrifying looking spikes running along his back, or the large white claws on his feet. It didn't help that he seemed to be almost as tall as a six story house. Strangely enough though, when the dragon turned to look at her, Ashlyn was not afraid. She felt more of a sense of pride when his large head nudged her naked waist. That was, until his tongue traced an odd pattern on her side. It felt like fire was crawling up her skin, and she started screaming, dropping to her knees in pure pain. The dragon stepped back, and a few minutes later when she looked up, in his place there stood a man. He stepped into the moon light and-
