This is a fanfic about Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey. I know she is married, I know know he used to be. This is not a question here. Also, this is not a conspiracy theory about them being secretly together. This is nothing more than a story about how things could've been between them, because sometimes it's really hard for me to keep some thoughts out of my mind. Mostly wrote from Ellen's point of view.
