This short story was written to mimic the writings of Lu Xun, who was a Chinese writer in the early 1900's. He wrote powerful works that made statements about the government, and how society was/is corrupt. In this short story, I hoped to make a statement similar to his, implying how humanity's sense of adventure/imagination is snuffed out by education at a young age, leading to a whirlpool of other problems.
