"When I look into your eyes, I know where you've been, I know what you saw that night in the forest. I know what you are now." Scholars rule the empire and Alleria is about to become the youngest Scholar in history. Some loathe her for her gender, class and age, while others fear what she will become when she grows too wise to be controlled. And there's one strange boy who knows her secret - a boy who whispers about demons in the shadows and the haunting melody that comes with them. Stepping up to stand among the sharks and snakes of the patriarchal imperial politics, Alleria sets her heart on solving the world's greatest mathematical problem - and perhaps also its greatest crisis. The path she chooses may make her the most successful woman in the empire, or lead her to her own demise - or both. **#1 in Fantasy** PREVIOUSLY TITLED "ALLERIA" Cover art by @sugarcrystals

It smelt slightly of mint, and an undercurrent that was all Cole-pure masculine goodness.I breathed in deeply, my eyes briefly fluttering closed. God, since when did he smell so good?" Raven has lost everyone. Her mother and twin sister died, her father left, leaving her in alone in the world with powers that she barely understands. All that Raven has left is Cole, her best friend. When a dangerous enemy resurfaces intent on killing Raven, Cole swears he will do all he can to protect her. As the two get pushed closer together, will their combined powers be enough to save them? Will Raven be able to stop her heart from shattering to a thousand pieces? *** Please keep in mind that this is a first draft, and is, for the most part, unedited. I know it's not at its best, but I'm working on it... "Wow, I am so hooked!" "You captivated me from the start..." "The storyline seems very original..." *COMPLETE* There are whispers across the kingdoms that the Paragon, that strangely gifted person who can wield all four Skills, has been found. They're wrong, of course. No one has caught the Paragon. Allayria should know: she's it. But Allayria doesn't want to be the Paragon, and in her pursuit of freedom she finds herself enmeshed in a web of lies, caught in a group who might be even more dangerous than she could have imagined. Still, she's not the only one who has problems: bigger tides of change and danger are shifting across the world she has been assigned to protect. The Jarles, a kingdom in the east, has begun moving across its borders, and there are strange murmurings about what they have done, and where all the children they abducted have gone. Faced with responsibilities she never wanted, and a life she thought she could never have, Allayria must decide how she will help--and if she will be the Paragon at all. _____________________ WIP Cover art and written work by Azi.
