[George Harrison x OC] *TRIGGER WARNING - This story contains sensitive topics that some people might find triggering. If you're easily triggered, then please take caution while reading this story* George Harrison is a world-famous guitarist and member of The Beatles. The year is 1964, and Beatlemania is in full swing. Girls all over the world are screaming and swooning at the sight of him. He's living the life, as it appears, but the only thing he wants is a break from the fame. Somewhere he can escape to without getting mobbed by a swarm of fans. Clover Quinton is a brilliant Yale student with strict, wealthy parents. They're forcing Clover to become a neurosurgeon, with no verbal dispute from her. Although seemingly in-order and successful, Clover is severely depressed and goes to extreme lengths to help cope with the immense amount of stress she undergoes daily. She is extremely intimidated by her parents, and does everything they tell her to, no matter how much it hurts her. All Clover wants is an escape from her daily struggles, and the guts to tell her parents how she really feels. One night, when Clover is overwhelmed with homework and studying, her best friend Maria Sims forces her to go out to a club with her. Having just taken depression medication, Clover becomes blackout drunk despite not drinking very much. The same night, George Harrison wakes up on a park bench near that same club with nothing but the clothes on his back and a strange locket he won at a poker game in his pocket. George finds the bar and recognizes Clover as the woman inside the locket and tries to ask her for help. Clover, however, is incapable of forming a coherent thought and instead ends up inviting him to her home and passing out on the kitchen floor. Once Clover regains consciousness and hears George's story, she becomes determined to help him find a way home.

Beatles fan fiction. Della Milton and George Harrison lived on opposite sides of Upton Green, Speke, Liverpool, in the 1950s. Born three weeks apart they soon became childhood best friends. George grows up and becomes lead guitarist in the phenomena that is The Beatles. It takes him far and away from that small oval green in Liverpool and gives him experience and opportunities he could never have imagined. But Della's not concerned about George's fame and fortune. He'll always be her friend, her confidant and her rock. He's as close to her as family. Sometimes she thinks he's the only one in the world she can call a friend. He'll always be the same, he'll always be there for her... won't he? Beatle: George Genre: Romance Warnings: Bad language, explicit adult situations, loads of angst, sex and rock & roll. Status: Began 29/10/17, in progress, updated each Sunday. Feedback, votes & comments are very much welcome and appreciated! For readers who've previously read Shelter In Your Love, you might find this similar in theme and style, but hopefully not *too* much! There are also a few conscious changes to real life events in the timeline of this story - they've been changed for narrative purposes. © Miss O'Dell 2017 This is a work of fiction. As such, it should not be read as a factual account of events or biography. *sequel to In Your Atmosphere* 1966 was a year of seismic changes for the Beatles. By the end of the year, the last single Beatle, Paul McCartney, was on the verge of saying "I do" to his California sweetheart, Marisol Hemingway. And then life happened. "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon
