Ćømpłěţěď "I knock on your door, See blood flowing on the floor, But when I realize, the blood isn't mine, I come back for more." Many people write poetry about how happy they are, how content they are with their life. But what if you aren't? What if the only thing you fear is oblivion? That's when the dark thoughts kick in. That's when Dark Days start. Those are the days you suffer. Those are the days you don't feel like yourself. Those are the days of Darkness. Here are the poetry of the Days of Darkness . #14, #12, #11, #8 in What's Hot list in poetry. A young woman who was always the life of the party, quick to tell a joke, always smiling and happy, tragically dies at age 23. What her mother found after her death reflected a much different young woman, her poetry. Her words showed a young woman crying out to feel loved, wanted, beautiful and worthy. Struggling to accept herself as the wonderful, happy, beautiful young woman everyone else saw her as. Her words reflect the pain and torment she allowed another to cause her. It is her mother's most heart felt desire to reach even one young person struggling to accept themselves. To encourage them to open up and talk to someone, to know they are never alone, to know their feelings are validated. She also hopes to reach a mother that perhaps feels her daughter is perfect and completely in charge of her life, as mothers often do. After reading her poetry, hopefully it will facilitate conversation, confirm unconditional love and help to end words that a mother never hears. I am her mother and these are her words.

Cover credit: @feministee ****Collection of original poems by me where the topics range from love to life to madness and everything in between**** Only tormented souls can put into words the thoughts that others dare not even think. Poetry is such an act of bravery where soul, language and emotions mate to give birth to one of the most beautiful forms of literature. And this is my share of it.
