Sequel to You Are Not a Monster (so if you haven't read that, STOP HERE because you need to read it first). After Steve finds Bucky at the Smithsonian exhibit, he takes him back to the Avengers Tower in hopes of fixing his broken friend. Of course, things don't go exactly as planned, and a rescue mission of some sort is in order. However, they face an unexpected enemy along the way.

Charlie has never been able to die. At age six, she got hit by a car and walked away unharmed. At age ten, she was shot during a bank robbery, and woke up in a hospital with no memory of the incident. She basically throws her life away, at the age of 97 (while she only looks twenty) while trying to steal a picture frame... From the Avengers Tower. Fury, after finding out who she is, recruits her for one reason - find, and bring in the Winter Soldier. They all believe she can be the only one to do it. Why? Because she can't be killed. It's been months since Charlie helped bring in the Winter Soldier, and not once has she seen the man Steve calls Bucky Barnes. Every day (with the exception of weekends) she has a gun clip unloaded into her skull. The council is unhappy with their progress, and gives them until Christmas to fix him, or else SHIELD must take drastic measures. Snow is staring to fall. The air is turning cold.
