1 month after the incident with the Witch Ursula and Soul's older brother Wes, the DWMA has dealt and overcome the incident with the, "Hatchers" from Death Angel Academy over the past four weeks. As of now, it is Wes Evan's funeral held outside in the courtyard of Shibusen itself, afterwards planned for his corpse to be buried in Hook Cemetery. As Soul's family arrives, all students and staff attend the funeral. During the ceremony however, they are attacked by a small group of people. Two people by the names of, "Eruka Frog the Witch" and, "Free: The man that stole the Witch's Eye." But as for the third person, Black Star and Tsubaki recognize the peculiar star-shapped tattoo on the girls arm. At that moment, Black Star realizes he is no longer the lone survivor of the assassination of the Star Clan.
