"People hide things up their sleeves. Sometimes it's cool things, like cards, like magic. Sometimes it's sad things, like scars, like depression." Psychological disorders are nothing new to Frankie Anderson. He's been around them his entire life, with his mother being a psychiatrist and all, and they never really bothered him. Until he moves to Ravenview, that is, and his life seems to do a complete 180 from the usual patient-gets-mental-diagnostic-from-Ma-and-gets-better norm. First of all, his new town is weird, including the people in it. Second of all, the town neighboring his is even weirder--people from Ravenview go to Suicideville to take their own lives almost every month. And thirdly, probably the weirdest, most screwed up thing to happen to him yet, he finds himself growing attached to his best friend's suicidal, self-destructive, clinically depressed older brother. And he's never been so desperate to help someone, to show them that there's more to life than pills, a bottle and a gun before it's too late.

Keegan's the type of guy that's afraid to steal his neighbor's Wi-Fi. And in a city overrun with hunky new superheroes with more to hide than just their identities, crazy science teachers threatening to end all life on earth and, well, parents, that might not be the best character trait to have. Mix in the fact that there's a new villain who is as cunning as he is photogenic, a health hazardous best friend and having a massive-not-a-crush on a guy who doesn't even know you have superpowers and this may be the most awkward junior year of high school in history.

Haunted. Terrified. Alone. Those three words seem to be the only emotions that seventeen year old Gabriel Adams knows how to feel. At the age of thirteen, when other boys were chasing after pretty girls and playing in the dirt, Gabriel had been kidnapped and molested. Now, several years later, Gabriel still can't return to the normal life he'd lived before the Incident. He's terrified of the dark, and even the daytime gives him anxiety attacks. Gabriel hates being touched. A simple brush against him will set him off into spasms while panic quickly takes over his mind. It seems as if nothing will relieve Gabriel from the constricting, painful claws of the man who'd done him harm, and Gabriel is becoming desperate. That's when Evan Ricci steps in. Evan, a stubborn yet surprisingly selfless teenager, moves to the small, quiet town of Clydesdale Heights. When Evan sees a small, awkward blond haired boy carrying pop boxes across the street while he's bringing moving boxes into the new house, he decides to help him. Things don't go exactly as planned, though, and their relationship begins with a rather rough start. The two eventually learn to bond, and Evan helps Gabriel learn to deal with the psychological consequences of being molested, which eventually blooms into an understanding so deep they can't imagine themselves with anyone but the other. A hint of infatuation sparks up, but not quite yet will the love blossom out like most. Their love will take time. And lots of patience and persistence, too.

NOTE: The story contains mature actions and issues. It tells about the love between two young men. The story is NOT edited, but I have begun with that, so please read the Author's Note CAREFULLY, thank you. How do fire and ice combine together? Meet Travis Henderson, sort of new student, blunt to extreme when he can't keep his tongue on a leash, extravagant, vain and cocky as a cat and afraid of nothing. Well, almost. Although with his looks it's very difficult to walk-by unnoticed, he wants to keep a low profile and prefers to stay alone and the company of his I-pod only. Oh, did we mention he is gay? Proud and loud, he would say. Travis knows no half measures when it comes to feelings; he feels a fire burning inside him and has to let it out. Travis must have the object of his interest no matter what, but fire can really burn and hurt you, even if you are its master. And what happens when you realize who you want is the only man impossible to have? Yes, Travis is like a burning and shining ball of fire. Meet Aleksandr Lebedev, half Russian half American, star of the ice-hockey school team. Being 6′3″ tall with a fierce and dangerously annoyed glare make him one of the most feared guys in school. And he likes to be feared by useless and annoying people, since he doesn't appreciate to be involved in others' business at all. Sasha is like the solid and cold ice on which he skates, and only his family and closest friends have a place in his glacial world and heart. That's all you will ever get from Aleksandr and mind well not to annoy him. There is ice in his veins and nothing else. How will it turn out to bump into a constant magnet for trouble? How fire and ice combine together? Will the cold ice extinguish the fire or will the burning and unpredictable fire melt the ice?
