The Nobles, that's what everyone who had a heartbeat at Mentorist High called them. They were the definition of superior and undeniable beauty. A boy, no a man, who exuded power and confidence and played girls almost as good as they played sports. And of course, weren't too bad to look at. They were in need of a three and one cold blooded murderer fit the script to Ire's horror. Ire is seen as a prune, boring some might say. She would rather read a book than to drool over The Nobles and who they played with. All she wanted was the worse night of her life to disappear and that's exactly what didn't happen. She was the only witness and he wanted her to forget. And not just by looking at his, drool-worthy-tattooed-golden-yes-daddy-body.

"Y-you," she stuttered, staring at the handsome man sitting on the sleek black throne, "you're..." He rolled his eyes, waving his hand impatiently and said, "Hades. Come on, say it with me. Ha-des." "Hades," Ariel breathed out, still not believing the sight before her. Every picture she had seen of the gods had not depicted Hades' beauty. The god sitting before her was not a crusty old man with a white beard; no, he was a Calvin Klein model. "Yes," Hades clasped his hands together and grimaced, "the God of Death and riches; that's me." Ariel nodded, still refusing to believe but knowing she had to and Hades' grimace turned even bitter, "And you, darling, will be staying with me for quite some time." ~*~ Cover: _nymphomaniac Published: 8/6/14

On the exterior, twins Acelyn and Brooklyn Smith seem like normal teenage girls, but in actuality, they are far from. Normalcy is crushed in a mere few seconds as they narrowly manage to escape their demise; having a set destination, the twins run away to their old family vacation house. They never anticipated the knock on the door, nor what they were getting into. Their life only gets curiouser and curiouser as they begin to learn of a prophecy— a prophecy that entails twins cast out of their homeland and down to earth as infants to be safe while their home was at war. As their eighteenth birthday nears, Brooklyn and Acelyn start to notice they share shocking parallels with the myth foretold, but could that just be coincidence? In a matter of weeks, their lives take an even more dramatic twist for the dark. The prophecy rings true; with indecision, love, and lies, they set out upon a perilous journey to save their lives, their people, and their world. But can they really be sure of their judgement? When lines are crossed, truths are blurred, and morality has different meaning, it begins to complicate things. After all, you can never become truly holy unless you have the opportunity to be definitively wicked. © Elizabeth Elliott and Alexis Neal, all rights reserved 2014
