QADR: Innocence of a Child
MdHasif
In a future, centuries on from our time. On an angry world since wracked by the consequences of our folly, humankind endures. Upon the rubble and memories of Nations and people long since lost, a new world is born. Its people struggle to find their way forward, birthing such diverse new cultures, and new nations in turn. In this landscape, two very different stories intertwine, spinning a thread to a tale that may decide the fate of all who live under these new skies. A boy, with no family to call his own, with a past inevitably tied to the fate of this world, wanders the land seeking that which he might call "home". A young woman, born with all the privileges of the elite, finds herself shackled by the burden of her station. After losing her mother, a person so precious to her, and seemingly left to the wayside by her distant father, she seeks to change this new order, which threatens to bury her alive. This tale of two, and the decisions they make, will either chart a path for mankind to rise above its calling, or fall once more into calamity.
